Love a man for who he is, not just because he is VASTLY better than the last one or any other that came before. Love him in his own right, for what he does that makes you smile, not just because you no longer cry. Make sure that he knows that he’s special and that you love him for who he is, and not just his ability to fill the role as the man in your life.

There’s no benefit in sinking down to the level of immature and insecure women that try to elicit anger or jealousy just because they want the same guy as you. Allowing them to affect you shows your insecurity and jealousy and that you consider them to be a threat.
